The project is rooted in my experience of landscape, my way of approaching it, processing it and responding to it. My intimate engagement with the landscape around me through the camera's lens creates a window which encourages those physical scenes to constantly permeate and shape the inner landscape of my thoughts and reflections.

The final piece is the creation of a visual essay that captures a personal journey, the interplay between landscape and artist, between the physical world of nature and that intimate space in which reflections are nurtured and ideas born. The final photos are just a part of the process, the projects its about everything, a piece that starts with the trekking in the forest with a large format camera, armed with just a couple of negatives, and continues in the laborious process of the darkroom, having for result just a selected images that reflects the essence of what is art for me.
